Credentials you'll need
These are the values you'll paste into Call Coach IQ when setting up the integration. Gather them from VitalPBX before starting.
The URL of your VitalPBX server, e.g. https://pbx.mycompany.com. Must be reachable from the internet.
Example: https://pbx.mycompany.com
VitalPBX Admin → Settings → API Management → generate or copy an existing token.
Step-by-step setup
Follow these steps in your VitalPBX account, then enter the credentials in Call Coach IQ → Admin → System & Data → Third-Party API Integration.
- 1
Ensure your server is internet-accessible
Call Coach IQ must be able to reach your VitalPBX server over HTTPS. Configure your firewall to allow inbound HTTPS (port 443) from the internet.
- 2
Generate an API token
In VitalPBX go to Settings → API Management and generate a new API token with read access to call records and recordings.
- 3
Enter credentials in Call Coach IQ
In Admin → System & Data, select VitalPBX and enter your server URL and the API token.
- 4
Set up agent name matching
Agent matching uses extension display names — ensure names in VitalPBX exactly match agent profile names in Call Coach IQ.
💡 Mismatched names are the most common setup issue with VitalPBX.
