Broadband & Electric Cooperatives
Member Service QA for Co-ops, Without a QA Department
Your member services team is small, and it answers billing questions, outage calls and new-service requests all day. Call Coach IQ scores those calls, writes the coaching note, and shows the member's NISC iVUE account and Calix line beside the call.

The Problems We Solve for Cooperative Member Services
✗ Member services is five people who also cover billing, outages and the front desk
✓ Every call within your plan's monthly call allowance is transcribed and scored automatically. Your manager starts the day with the calls that scored low or carried a churn signal, not a random sample nobody had time to pull.
✗ Billing, rate and capital-credit questions get a different answer from every rep
✓ Write a billing rubric with the explanation your co-op wants members to hear, and add required or forbidden phrases as compliance rules. Calls that miss them are flagged and a coaching note is written automatically.
✗ Outage days bury the queue, and nobody knows how members were treated
✓ Calls from an outage day are scored like any other day. On Insights IQ and up, Customer Themes counts outage and slow-speed calls by week and by service area, and alerts you when one area spikes.
✗ The board asks how member service is going, and the answer lives in one head
✓ Average scores, score trends, churn signals and coaching activity are on dashboards and in downloadable AI performance reviews, so the general manager walks into the board meeting with numbers.
Built for How Co-ops Actually Work
Rubrics for each kind of member call
Billing, tech support, new service and disconnect calls are scored on separate rubrics, in your own words. Built-in Tech Support, Sales and Retention rubrics give you a starting point you can edit.
The NISC iVUE member record beside the call
Connect NISC iVUE and the member’s live account — services, monthly charges, open trouble tickets, connect and disconnect dates — sits beside each scored call and on the Customer Journey.
What the line was doing, from Calix Cloud
Connect Calix Cloud and the Customer Journey shows the member’s equipment, Wi-Fi and outage state. Each scored call shows the Calix reading nearest it, with a note for coaching when the line or home Wi-Fi had a problem the rep could not see.
Outages and complaints by service area
Customer Themes counts what members call about — no service, slow speed, Wi-Fi, billing disputes — by week and by service city, wire center and fiber network, placed by the iVUE service point rather than a billing PO box. Insights IQ and up.
Churn risk ranked by what the member pays
Churn signals are flagged on ordinary billing and support calls, not only on disconnect requests. With iVUE connected, revenue at risk comes from each member’s monthly charges. Insights IQ and up.
Callbacks and promises that do not get lost
Upcoming Commitments lists every promise made on a call — a callback, a credit, a technician visit — with the member’s iVUE customer and account numbers on each row.
Coaching a small team can keep up with
Calls below your threshold get an AI coaching note automatically. Reps acknowledge it in the Coaching Hub, can dispute a score they disagree with, and Coaching Themes shows the gap the whole team shares.
Onboarding new reps without pulling a veteran off the phones
The Training Hub collects your best real calls into a library and learning paths. The Live Training simulator lets a new rep practise a billing or outage call with AI-suggested responses before taking a real one.
Sales moments on service calls
When a member asks about a plan upgrade or new service, the call is scored on your sales rubric and Sales Intelligence tracks whether it closed, so open opportunities get a follow-up. Insights IQ and up.
Connected to the Systems Co-ops Run On
Recordings come from your phone system. NISC iVUE tells us who the member is and what they buy; Calix Cloud tells us what their line is doing.

Review the flagged calls each morning, send the coaching note, and spend the rest of the day running the team instead of listening to recordings.

Priced for a Team of Six, Not Six Hundred
From $79 per agent per month. No seat minimums, month-to-month or annual, and you pay only for the people who take calls.
Compare plans and call allowances →Common Questions
Is Call Coach IQ built for cooperatives, or for big telecom call centers?
Both use it, but nothing about it assumes a big floor. Pricing is per agent with no seat minimums, so a six-person member services team pays for six seats. Pioneer Connect, a member-owned broadband co-op in Oregon, processed 2,978 calls in its first 2 months with a Customer Experience team of 6 agents, 1 team manager.
Do you integrate with NISC iVUE?
Yes. A company admin connects iVUE with a service user; credentials are stored in Google Secret Manager. Once the health check passes, the member’s account appears on scored calls, the Customer Journey, Churn Risk, Upcoming Commitments and Customer Themes. iVUE is a member system, so calls still come from your phone platform.
Do you record calls, or do we need our own phone system?
Call Coach IQ pulls recordings from the phone system you already use — it connects to 19 phone platforms — and does not replace it. NISC iVUE and Calix Cloud add member and network context; they are not the source of the recordings.
Does Call Coach IQ work for electric cooperatives?
Scoring, rubrics, coaching, compliance rules and churn signals work the same for any member-service call. The NISC iVUE integration reads member accounts for any co-op running iVUE. The Calix Cloud diagnostics and the network themes (wire center, fiber, copper) are specific to broadband.
Can we score capital-credit, billing and outage calls differently?
Yes. Each call type can have its own rubric, and admins add required and forbidden phrases as compliance rules — for example the wording your co-op uses to explain capital credits or a rate change. Calls that miss them are flagged with the transcript excerpt.
Does it coach reps during the call?
No. Calls are scored and coached after they end, usually within minutes of the recording being available. Live Training is a practice simulator for reps, not an assistant on live member calls.
How fast can a small co-op get started?
Integration usually takes one business day and teams are fully operational within a week. You can also try one of your own calls first with the free Analyze a Call tool, with no account needed.
See It With Your Own Member Calls
Book a 30-minute demo and we will set up a member services rubric and run one of your calls through it. Or upload a call yourself right now, no account needed.
No commitment. Integration in 1 business day, fully operational within a week.
Coverage applies to calls within your plan's monthly call allowance — 40 calls per agent per month on Coaching IQ, 100 on Insights IQ and 250 on Compliance IQ; Enterprise call processing is unlimited. Calls beyond the allowance are not processed that month rather than billed as overage. See plan allowances.
